About

Reese Truscott, aka GREESE MONKEY, is a Victorian artist, performer and educator with a focus on creative empowerment and freedom of expression. Combining visual arts with community collaboration, Reese seeks to present creative opportunities intended to dissolve barriers and make art accessible.

Propelled by a core principle of Anarchy, his personal works span Geometry, Technical Drawing, Realism, Surrealism and Mural Painting. Strong psychedelic themes emanate from intricate fractal patterns, while irrational creatures induce a sense of calm foreboding that ultimately gives way to a landscape of traditonal mixed media studies.

Reeses’s professional experience in Film and Television Post Production was the bedrock on which he built his capacity for storytelling and imagining immersive environments. Now, employed as a Disability Support Worker he is growing into the role of an educator with aspirations of becoming an art therapist.
